Neutral Colours - Black, Grey, and Brown

Neutral colours are colours that dont often appear on the colour wheel. They are also known as "earth tones".

Black

Black is the darkest known pigment, absorbing the light that hits it completely. It is also one of the only colours without a hue.

The colour black appears in nature in the fur and feathers of many animals. It is mostly associated with death, magic, and elegance.

Grey

Grey is another colour that does not appear on the colour wheel. It is the colour between white and black, and can vary in shades.

The colour grey can be found in nature in many birds and mammals, as well as reptiles and amphibians. In North America and Europe, it is commonly associated with wisdom and dignity, as well as modesty and indecision.
