Temperature

The temperature is how hot, warm, or cold the air is. It can play a role in the weather.
Thermometers are used to measure temperature, like this one:

If the temperature is cold, snowstorms or freezing rain are possible. Otherwise, rain or thunderstorms are possible.
Droughts or heat waves can happen in hot temperatures when there is no rain for a long period of time. If this occurs, always have water to drink, but conserve as much as you can.

Whether it will rain or snow, or not rain at all, could depend a lot on the temperature. Both good weather and bad weather can occur, whether it is cold or hot.

Global Warming

Global warming is a gradual increase in the Earth's temperature. It is believed to be permanently changing the Earth's climate due to the increase of greenhouse gases. It can make severe weather, wildfires, and droughts more common in certain areas of the world. However, global warming may provide economic benefits to some countries, as long as no one makes extra greenhouse gases.
