Sometimes, the weather may not be very calm. There can be thunderstorms, and sometimes they can pack a punch.

In a hurricane, you should be inside and away from windows and glass doors.
Secure outdoor objects or take them inside so they won't blow away in the wind.
If you can't get into your home, find the nearest building and get inside.
In a tornado, you should be inside on the lowest floor possible, a basement in other words.
If you can't get in a basement, get under a heavy piece of furniture or go to a small, windowless room.
Never take shelter inside mobile homes. They are very dangerous during tornadoes or severe winds.
If you're on the road, never take shelter under overpasses, as winds are faster there.
In a flood, go to higher ground and avoid areas subject to flooding.
If your house is flooding before you evacuate, go to the highest room possible, or the roof.
Always be ready for any weather, wherever you are.
