The keystone member of the group, Kevin Abstract serves as lead vocalist, and is often the member who sings the hooks for each song.
Russel Boring, or as he is better known, Joba, took more of a secondary role in the group's first three studio albums, but on their most recent venture, Iridescence, he took more of a front line role, filling the space of Ameer Vann, who was kicked out of the group following their third album.
Merlyn Wood, who has always taken on a secondary role in the group, had his first solo song in Iridescence. He has kept the same style, speaking to his Ghanan heritage, and utilizing more of a "shout rapping" vocal timbre.
Matt Champion has always taken on the role of being a main rapper for the group, taking a verse in most songs. He sort of fell of with the release of Iridescence as people like Joba and Bearface came to center stage. He still continues to have verses in many songs, but it seems like his presence is lacking from the groups previous albums.
