A bean is a seed of one of several genera of the flowering plant family, which are used for human or animal food.
Bean sprouts benefits include boosting eye health, bone health, the immune system and more.
Beans are one of the longest-cultivated and heliotropic plants.
It's leaves tilt throughout the day to face the sun. At night, they go into a folded "sleep" position.
I used mung bean, while sprouting can be done using just about any bean, the most common bean sprouts usually come from mung beans and soybeans, because mung beans and lentils are the easiest and fastest to sprout.

What is the mung bean

The mung bean is an annual vine. Mung beans are vigna, but It used to be classified as phaseolus. The mung bean leaves are pinnate and divided into 3 leaflets. The inflorescence is a raceme of yellow, blue, or purple pea flowers. The fruit is a legume pod of varying shape containing seeds. The mung bean is mainly cultivated in India , Pakistan , Bangladesh , Nepal , China , Korea , South Asia and Southeast Asia.

How to plant bean?

Contaminated seeds are usually the source of sprout-related illness outbreaks, so getting clean seeds is essential. The ones sold in gardening packets are likely to be chemically treated and should not be used for sprouting.
Like all vegetables, beans need nutrient-rich soil. It is essential to amend the soil and continually replenish its nutrients. Planting bean seeds in good soil amended with compost helps the roots find available nutrients immediately. Plants usually rely on soil primarily for support and water, but they also obtain compounds of nitrogen , phosphorus , potassium , magnesium and other elemental nutrients from the soil.
All vegetable plants and many flowers require large amounts of sunlight. Adequate spacing between plants will ensure that each plant receives sufficient light in the greenhouse. My bean sprouts are too thin because of the poor weather recently.
I think I have watered a lot, so they grow too fast. The plant roots are surrounded by soil that supports the growing plant. Plants usually rely on soil primarily for support and water, but they also obtain compounds of nitrogen , phosphorus , potassium , magnesium and other elemental nutrients from the soil.

Disease

Excessive heat and humidity can cause a variety of disease problems in beans, and the more common of these diseases are bacterial or wilt diseases.
Roots may die and leaves may yellow.Plants may exhibit discoloration and poor growth. Make sure beans are planted in well-drained soil, as excessive moisture is an ideal environment for the development of fungus.
Sclerotina fungus causes pods to become soft. Leaves form watery spots and stems rot. Cool, moist conditions trigger this common bean problem. Improve air circulation and discard plants.
Bean rust is another common problem caused by fungus. Affected plants develop rust-colored spots and leaves may yellow and drop. Plants should be removed and discarded. Avoid humid conditions and rotate plants.
Bacterial blights are also common in wet environments. Halo blight attacks in cool temperatures. Bean plants develop dark spots surrounded by yellowish halos. Common blight occurs in warm weather. This also causes dark spots but without the halo. Both are caused from infected seeds and spread easily in wet conditions.
Many insects overwinter in nearby shrubs, trees, and brush. Keeping the garden area free of debris can help control bean problems associated with insect pests.

Solutions

Mulch soil to retain moisture; make sure that it is well-drained. Water regularly, from start of pod to set. Water on sunny days so foliage will not remain soaked. Keep leaves dry by avoiding overhead sprinklers to cut down on the development of fungus. Beans require normal soil fertility. Only fertilize where levels are low. Begin after heavy bloom and set of pods. Use a light hand when applying high-nitrogen fertilizer, or you will get lush foliage and few beans. Weed diligently and use shallow cultivation to prevent disturbing the root systems. Keeping the area free of debris, including post-harvest plants, is a way to alleviate problems growing beans. Excessive heat and humidity are responsible for most pest and disease problems. Allow extra space between plants for better airflow, especially in humid areas.
